Enhance classroom training with e-learning

Microsoft IT Academy members at both the Essential and Advanced levels receive unlimited access to up to 250 award-winning Microsoft E-Learning courses that have been specially chosen to align with Microsoft IT Academy programs. E-Learning provides students with more hands-on practice through a multimedia learning experience. Instructors can use e-learning to expand their own professional skills and to explore ways to improve classroom learning.

The e-learning portfolio for the Essential membership level includes:

Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 Microsoft Office system applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access. Many of these courses are available in Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, German, French, and Italian.

Windows XP Professional and Windows Vista desktop courses.

The e-learning portfolio for the Advanced membership level includes:

Windows Server 2003, Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista, Internet Explorer 7.0, Exchange Server 2003, and SQL Server 2005.

SQL Server 2005, ASP.NET and ASP.NET 2.0; Visual Studio .NET and Visual Studio 2005; .NET Framework 2.0, and more.

Instructor E-Learning Course Management Tool

Microsoft IT Academy instructors have flexibility and control in managing e-learning courses with the online course management tool. Upon registering for this benefit, IT Academy instructors receive an access code for the tool.

Using this tool, instructors can:

Select e-learning courses for their students.

Create access codes for the classroom.

Manage group-level messaging.

Access usage reports for each of their classes.
